If you're craving a rugged, scenic ride just north of Moab, the Sovereign Trail delivers. Starting off Willow Springs Road, this dynamic route winds through slickrock and sand with rewarding views of the La Sal Mountains. It’s a go-to for dirt bikers and mountain bikers who want a mix of technical challenge and desert solitude.

Pomeroy Lakes is a quick trail located just outside of St. Elmo. You will pass old mines, tram equipment, and cross several creeks. On a dirtbike, the trail can be done in 1 hour (top and back) with time for sight-seeing. If jeeping or driving, allow 2-3 hours.

Baldwin Lake is a scenic ride near Nathrop, CO. The lake is located at about 12,000 feet and the trail is an out and back. It took us about 2 hours on our dirt bikes to complete with plenty of pit stops and about 40 minutes trying to help a jeep out of the snow!

Tiger Road in Breckenridge, CO is a fantastic place to start your dirt biking and camping adventure. It’s easy to access, relatively close to Denver, and there are spectacular views above treeline. If you want to make a weekend of it, consider tent camping or boondocking on the national forest land at the end of Tiger Road.
