Timberline Trail (#414) - Taylor Park, CO

Nestled in the heart of Colorado's Gunnison National Forest, the Timberline Trail (#414) offers dirt biking enthusiasts a challenging and scenic adventure. Spanning approximately 27.4 miles, this singletrack trail winds through alpine meadows, dense forests, and rugged terrains, providing riders with a fun experience. The trail begins at Forest Road #7742.H1 (6 Shooter Brown Road) and concludes at Forest Road #7267.2B (Garden Road), featuring technical sections, stream crossings, and steep climbs. With elevations ranging from 9,000 to 12,000 feet, the Timberline Trail is best tackled during the summer to early fall months when the snow has melted, and the trail conditions are optimal. Camping options are available nearby, making it convenient for multi-day adventures.
