First walkthrough - 2019 Keystone Outback 324 CG
I found our initial walkthrough video from last year! This was the first time we had our camper out for a trip. It’s been a year now and we still love it. We had some issues with a wheel hub/brake assembly and Keystone was great throughout the warranty process. Some of the things we were looking for when we started browsing for new campers were:
King Bed - a MUST
A garage large enough to fit 2 dirtbikes
Ample storage space for riding gear, food, camping gear, etc.
Enough space for us to have friends along without feeling cramped
A larger water and poop tank than our last camper (Salem Cruise Lite)
Durable interiors and high-quality paint on the exterior - we have dogs and don’t want the fabric to be ripped the first time they jump on the couch
Could not break the budget as we would have to buy a diesel truck to pull this puppy too
Durable enough to be taken off-road
These are the things I am pleased with in regards to our camper:
No failures in the auto-leveling or interior technology
No issues with tears in the fabric or things falling off the walls (this happened in our last camper)
No issues with the appliances breaking or glitching out
We frequently go over extremely rough terrain and this has held together like a champ - no flat tires, no suspension issues, nothing breaking inside…
These are the things I am less than pleased with in regards to this model:
Lower than average kitchen storage (they make up for it in the bedroom storage)
An issue with wheel hub/bearing/brake failing within the first year - thankfully Keystone was amazing in getting us taken care of
Exterior storage seems slightly lacking
Overall, we’re extremely pleased with the Keystone Brand and this particular camper. We still think these interiors are competitive with 2020 models at 2-3 times the price we paid for this. We bought this RV at the Denver Travel Trailer/RV show and got one heck of a deal (Over 20K off MSRP)!. If we were doing it all over again and purchasing another bumper pull toy hauler, this would be the one we’d pick.
