Liz Rating: 4/5.
I rated this a 4/5 overall. The park is fun, relatively easy to get to and has a wide variety of terrain. It is also really affordable at only $15 per bike. This is less than most MX tracks in the Denver and Colorado Springs area. You can also camp here for an additional fee. I would recommend you bring a camper with water if you plan on doing that as there are only port-a-potties. I took off one point for the lack of running water (most tracks don’t have this, but most tracks don’t offer camping). I also rated this a 4/5 because it’s always so crowded and extremely dusty. If you were here on a weekday, I would give this a 5/5 rating.
Ram Off-Road Park is great fun and about 1.5 hours from Arvada. They have a section of their park called mini-Moab and it is easy to see where that came from. This park really has it all. The track is smooth and easy to ride with many no-consequence jumps. Their offroad track has great berms and some jumps mixed in. We’ve seen jeeps and other full-size cars here the past few times we’ve come and it always looks fun. They have a road below a jump if you’re feeling adventurous. If you are looking for a more traditional motocross track, Aztec Family Raceway is several hundred yards to the west (they are separate places though so you’ll need to pay again). Even though this park is crowded on the weekend, it’s large enough that you can ride for a minute or two and be out of sight of the other riders. They have clean port-a-potties with hand sanitizer in them. You’ll want to pack in your lunch and bring plenty of water. There really isn’t much shade here and it can get hot.
